New Holland LS180 skid steer that acts as your short on fuel. It works fine for a while and then it starts to stand up. Wait a few minutes and it starts up and works fine and then stalls again. I have changed the fuel filters twice, the new fuel cap, the new fuel inlet hose, and the fuel draw tube inspected. and the new fuel pump. Help?
Mechanic’s Assistant: What is the complete model and serial number of your machine?
Hi there! Let’s see if we can work together and come to a satisfactory conclusion!
Have you made a test line, and attached it to the fuel inlet of the filter assembly with the electric fuel pump, and dropped it into the fuel filler opening of the tank, bypassing the tank, and the lines to the fuel transfer pump.
Even the electric fuel pump, everything is suction and has to be vacuum tight. After the pump, everything is under pressure and would show up as a leak. You want to test the suction side of the system, using a test line to bypass the tank and hoses to the transfer pump.
